Your age is a number
"How old are you actually?"
Who hasn't heard this question? It's most often asked when you've done something stupid or when someone wants to say, "You're too young to know that!"
The equivalent is often: "You're a scoundrel!"
Two sentences that I have heard all my life, and before you wonder: Yes, of course I still hear them today.
But is knowledge only withheld from the “old”?
Why do we assume that you have to be "old" to have experience and knowledge?
At what point do you become “old”?
Anyone who has had their experiences knows that many lessons don't come from books. Many of us even had to go through painful moments to get where we are today.
Just as diamonds are cut using high-powered machines, so it is with people. Anyone who wants to achieve something must make a lot of sacrifices, learn, and pass all kinds of tests.
Being called a "smart aleck" is actually a compliment in that respect.
👏 You did it! Congratulations! You know more than others and you've put in a lot of work to achieve it! 👏
Gaining any experience requires a lot of time and effort.
Sweat, tears, gritted teeth—all of this will be familiar to you, so be proud of yourself! You know what you've accomplished and where you come from.
Age is just a number. Numbers have the potential to give you strength to accomplish your goals. Every new number is another boost.
So take a moment. Look back at your past. Do you see all the successes?
Keep it up! Set your goals higher! Prove to yourself again and again that you can do it!
Keep Smiling! Be Strong!
